Client Onboarding Portal

A concrete project with a clear subject and real-world context.

This item stays close to the site's topic and gives the reader a specific reason to open the page.

This page frames a concrete subject instead of using a generic heading. It explains what is being considered, why it matters in the site's context, and what detail a reader can expect next. The copy is intentionally plain and specific, so it reads like a real content item.

The brief

The client runs a small design studio that takes on new clients every month. Their old process relied on email threads, scattered documents, and a shared spreadsheet that nobody really maintained. The result was confusion about deadlines, missing brand assets, and a first impression that felt less organised than the work they actually delivered.

The goal was straightforward: build a single place where a new client could land after signing, see what the studio needed from them, and understand what would happen next. No more guessing which file to send or when the first review would take place.

What we built

We designed a portal that walks a client through four clear steps: profile setup, brand asset upload, project brief confirmation, and a timeline view with milestones. Each step has a progress indicator, so there is always a sense of where things stand.

The visual system uses a restrained palette with a single accent colour for actions and alerts. Typography is large and legible, because most clients check the portal on a laptop between meetings. We kept the interface calm and uncluttered, letting the content guide the eye rather than decorative elements.
